Bears Ears at Risk!

Bears Ears National Monument, a landscape that tells the story of over 12,000 years of human history, is now threatened by a fundamentally flawed management plan. The plan does not encompass the full area originally designated a national monument that was supported by a coalition of Native American Tribes. The proposed management plan also does not do enough to protect resources in the remaining monument area.

Join us in urging the Bureau of Land Management to:

  1. Postpone finalizing the Bears Ears Monument Management Plan until the litigation challenging the revocation of the original monument boundaries is resolved, and
  2. Strengthen the management plan to better protect this landscape.

Thank you!
