If enacted, the Great American Outdoors Act would be the single largest federal investment in preservation of historic and cultural resources for public lands in our generation, and it would provide the support necessary to ensure America’s historic places are saved for generations to come. Over 850 preservation, business, outdoor, tourism, conservation, recreation and hunting groups have signed on to a letter to Congress urging the passage of this act.
The Senate passed this bipartisan bill on June 17, 2020 by a vote of 73-25. Now the House needs to act to send the bill to the President to be signed into law. Contact your representative today and ask them to vote YES to pass this important legislation.
