Black History is American History. Sign Your Name.

For the past five years, the African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund has made significant progress in restoring places where Black history happened.

From the homes of icons such as Nina Simone and Louis Armstrong, to civil rights sites such as the A.G. Gaston Motel and Clayborn Temple, places across the country speak to the power and breadth of Black history. Yet too often, these places have gone unrecognized for the important role they play in the fabric of American society.

There is still more work to be done to ensure they are permanently protected and recognized for their role in shaping our American history—and we can’t do it without you. Sign the pledge to support protecting, preserving, and interpreting these invaluable American places that showcase the beauty and complexity of Black history and culture.
