Reauthorize the Historic Preservation Fund

For more than forty years, the Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) has breathed life into long-untold stories and helped communities protect places that form our cultural identity. Today, we have an opportunity to enhance and protect federal support for preservation activities for states, Tribes, and communities as they work to preserve our past.

The Historic Preservation Fund Reauthorization Act (H.R. 3350) would reauthorize the HPF for ten years and increase its authorization from $150 to $250 million, annually. Enacting this legislation will significantly enhance protection of our nation’s historic resources, ensuring that they remain vibrant for communities throughout the country well into the future.

Join the National Trust in asking members of the House of Representatives to cosponsor and support the Historic Preservation Fund Reauthorization Act (H.R. 3350).
