Preservation Leadership Training: ReImagining Historic Sites
Washington, D.C. | February 27–March 1
This Preservation Leadership Training, developed in partnership with Museum Hue, looks to provide attendees with the tools and strategies to re-center underrepresented stories at historic sites around the country. Over three days, attendees will learn best practices for interpreting, collecting, and building partnerships where the full American experience is interwoven with older, more exclusive narratives.
Participants will learn from guest speakers and from each other as they talk through barriers, challenges to shifting interpretation at their historic sites. This work will culminate in a single real-world case study putting their new knowledge into practice.
