Tell the Full Story. Take the Pledge.
From the homes of icons such as Nina Simone and Pauli Murray, to civil rights sites such as the A.G. Gaston Motel and Clayborn Temple, places across the country speak to the history of African Americans and their contributions to America.
But too often, these places have gone unrecognized for the important role they play in the fabric of American society.
The National Trust for Historic Preservation is working to fill this gap through our African American Cultural Heritage Action Fund. By saving these significant places, we hope to tell the full American story—which is more critical now than ever. But we can’t do it without you. Please, sign the pledge.
