2019 Diversity Scholarship Program Application
The Diversity Scholarship Program (DSP) supports the attendance of leaders from underrepresented communities new to preservation and of emerging preservation professionals at the National Trust's annual conference, PastForward. DSP participants receive financial assistance in the form of complimentary registration and lodging at PastForward. The program aims to help increase the diversity—racial, ethnic, cultural, and socio-economic—of professionals in preservation, contributing a wide range of perspectives to the conference and enriching the preservation movement overall.
- You must be a current preservation professional, volunteer, or student. If more than one of these categories applies to you, please indicate that in your application. We recognize that preservation takes many forms; if you do not feel that these categories fully represent your work, let us know in your personal essay.
- You must be able to attend the entire PastForward 2019 conference, October 10–12 in Denver.
- You can apply for and participate in the DSP more than once. Those who have not participated before will have first consideration.
- There is no age requirement for this program.
Applications are due on May 15, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
