The Historic Preservation Fund provides state and tribal preservation organizations with grant funding to save and recognize historic places across the country. Under the purview of the National Park Service (NPS), the grant programs support projects that protect and interpret America’s diverse heritage, including sites related to underrepresented communities.
As our nation works to reconcile its difficult history and create a more inclusive future, now is the time to support robust funding for the Historic Preservation Fund. In doing so, the NPS will be fully equipped to protect and interpret America’s diverse heritage and support economic opportunities in local communities.
